baton pass is an underrated strategy. Unfortunately (or fortunately) only little babbies use it, so they can easily be broken. I've faced a couple high ranking guys who used them and it was night and day from the kiddies who use all eeveelutions and greed to +6 in everything.

Xerxes was basically the first guy to commentate pokemon battles so he is very oldschool. Check out his battle number 97 against Blametruth. Perhaps the best battle on youtube.
And Gubstacular deserves way more subs than he has, I think.
