The only way champ is allowed to skip a mon is if it is banned by Showdown
Only when current champ calls new champ, is there a new champ, unless champ violates the rules
Basically what's happening is faggots have flooded in here since X/Y came out, and don't like to see shitmon, so they try to change showderp rules.

If I were to give 10 random pokes, I would bet money that there will be a handful of people that consider anything that isn't OU useless. This leads to conflict, because everyone has their own idea of what should and shouldn't become useless.
First we start skipping shitmon, what next? Ledian is pretty useless, so why not skip that suggestion too? For that matter, how about we start skipping anything that uses sleep powder over spore?
This is why I personally thing that is should be concrete. The first 6 suggestions get in, as they always have. If you don't like shitmon being suggested, then maybe you should suggest something before they do.
Here, how about we don't even bother suggesting? Let's just let champ pick his mons and nobody gets any say, seeing as that is the way showderp will probably end up in about 3 more months.

The only mons being skipped are ones that are OBVIOUSLY troll suggestions. 95% of the people here seem to have their shit together when it comes to making the distinction between "a shitmon who is going to be used because it can do things because no one cares about skipping shitmons" and "a troll suggestion whose poster can fuck off." So why can't you? Can you legitimately not see the difference between a Squirtly and a Magikarp with only splash? Can you REALLY not see the difference between a Seedot and an Abra with only teleport?
Additionally, Weedle is getting skipped because it's been suggested a million times and people are tired of it, and it's only being suggested now to troll the champ. It's not because "AUGH IT'S NOT SMOGON APPROVED."

Is ledian an obvious shitmon? What if we have a champ, and a third of the thread agrees he can skip Breloom because it does not know spore? What I'm implying is that you either accept all mons, or you don't even bother. As it stands right now, we've gone from accepting the first 6 mons without fail, to letting champs skip both moves AND mons based on whether they "are shit" or not.
