Or maybe you do, considering the fact that you don't know Genesect is explicitly banned from ranked? The only place you see it is random wifi match ups because it is banned in every ranked format.

Yet they allow moves that were one time, event only, AND on 6iv mons (Chansey and salamence having wish to name 2).
If you play on the actually system you have a bit less to play around too with most legends having shit IVs.
Don't worry I sim too, but only to test teams before I breed them IRL.

Gen isn't really needed with the new mechanics.
I bred a adamant 5iv charmander with 4 egg moves (flare blitz, dragon pulse, outrage, dragon dance) in literally 30min starting from scratch.
Only thing I could see it useful for is getting IVs on legendarys. Even then team building has never been much of an issue without them.

Hmmm. Guess I could see that being a thing.
That never really affects me much though. Most things I use get the moves normally by breeding. (Though wish Chansey made me a lil sad)
