How silly of me to doubt that the Dragon, who pretty much only fights for royalty, would be awakened in the hands of a commoner.
Hell, it didn't even wake up until that brat was literally standing in front of your throne. I even suggested challenging them the instant they got the stone, seeing as YOUR Dragon woke up the moment you grabbed its orb, just as would be expected of any legendary hero.
And then my plans and monetary investments of thirty years or so went down the shitter, as did the emotional ties I'd laid in that time, I was forced to try to put together some backup plan involving the very creature that crippled me, and, once again, it blew up in my face. I'll admit, that was mostly on me for not having a very good plan B for bringing peace to all of Unova, forever.
