Yeah I personally make a point of having aromatherapy around.
It's not common to see though since that and Heal Bell are about the only moves that fill that role, and not a lot of things can run it.

The only team archetype that needs almost no skill is baton pass and maybe another I can't think of right now. Even baton pass needs decent team building skills and requires the player not to be retarded though.
