In a world where all injuries are healed by sitting on top of a glowing table for a few seconds, I'm gonna go out on a limb and say Pokemon's world has probably has had a medical breakthrough or two we missed out on.

Because in a fantasy world of make-believe, why would anyone want to be burdened by a handicap like that?
Not to mention how controversial that would be.
Also, I don't know about you guys but I don't particularly like people that are handicapped. I don't dislike them, but I don't want muh pokemanz to be overly politically correct for no other reason than simply to be.

Tl;dr: Fuck people with handicaps. That shit is depressing. Save it for Lifetime.

Because then you have to think about it and it's awkward as fuck. Do you put Wheel Chair trainer on a mountain? One armed Swimmer in the ocean, moving slower than the other swimmers? People with disabilities in real life can do this stuff, but when you CHOSE to put it in your game, it opens too many uncomfortable doors.

In the anime world that is.

Super fast (Water) Pokémon v.s. Super slow (Grass) Pokémon.
Water-type Pokémon uses it's speed to dodge all Grass-type attacks.
Chips away at the Grass-types health using Water-type attacks when it spots an opening.
Eventually the Grass-type is kil.

I do, and that's one of the thing I was thinking about. If you only put disabled trainers in cities, you'll get people bitching about how you didn't put them out in the field.

Rin would have to travel with others obviously, she can't really dress herself

Emi would have no problem travelling alone

Hanako would have no problem solely based on her Disability but I'm pretty sure, she would her at least one Burn-Heal joke per day
