Guys. I was wondering if there was a way to breed a Ferroseed with Stealth Rock and Leech Seed or the only way to get that combo would be Teaching it Stealth Rock on BW.

Okay, a quick question relating to egg moves. I've heard that the mother can pass down egg moves too now. So, for instance, if I wanted to breed moves X and Y onto Pokémon P, and parent A learns X but not Y, and parent B learns Y but not X, I could breed X onto P, then breed the resultant Px with B and get both moves. Correct? I apologize if that's confusing.

I was there.

Seems like I can get Spikes and Leech Seed from the Roselia and Cacnea Family but Stealth Rock has to be Tutored.

So I Guess one of these movesets can work:

@Leftovers
Stealth Rock
Thunder Wave
Gyro Ball
Spikes

or

Yes, passing egg moves from both parents means you can have any combination of egg moves now.
SR Male + Ferrothorn Female -> SR Baby
LS Male + SR Female -> LS+SR Baby

Miltank is female-only, and any time two Pokémon breed, the species of the baby is what the mother was, so yes, that's true. It's not a special trait of Miltank, though, that's just how breeding works.

Also, I love Q&A threads. I used to lurk the early XY for hours a day.

I've been reading and people can confirm that now both parents can pass down moves so there's no impossible combo!

If you put a Luvdisk on the GTS asking for a Ferroseed I'll send you one with ST, Spikes and Leech seed.

However, both male and female pass down egg moves, so getting one both with moves is very easy.

Scrafty looks like your best bet for the last member, then. Ice punch, Stone Edge, Drain Punch, and either Dragon Dance or Bulk Up.

I'd suggest adding U-Turn to Ambipom, especially so that the toxic counter reset swhen you switch out, and it'll let you use Fake Out again. Have you tried the Ambipom set before? It looks very gimmicky.

Vileplume would probably like either some boosting moves, or leech seed, or sub, to go with that set. Just attacking seems a waste of sleep. I don't think Vileplume is very good anyway tho...

To be honest, I havent use that set but I like the monkey. I got one trhu WT while I was playing the game named Chimpstrokes.

I don't know much about the competitive scene so I mostly searched for sets for my favorite ones so I'm open for suggestions.

Also, should I use a Mega? Is it like a must?

If a mega synergises well with your team, then definitely yes, but you'll generally do better with something that works well with the rest of your team.
