Currently working on a Nidoran(female). I want one with HA, and it might not even turn out to be the right Nidoran. Really stretching my luck with this one.
Just finished box 24, but figured I'll try to complete the National Dex and get myself a Shiny Charm.

Working on a full green team, which is why it's kinda important that Nidoran turns out to be female when a shiny finally shows itself. (Yeah, Eevee is an Espeon now)

You give the destiny knot to the ditto and then the everstone to the pokemon you want. The destiny knot will transfer 5 random IVs from BOTH parents, so it will benefit you to switch out the baby for the parent whenever the baby has more IVs.

I've posted this in like, 4 other threads throughout the week, but I gotta say it again.

I've hatched three shiny Froakies, and FS'd a shiny Frogadier.

The most recent Froakie has 5 perfect IVs (attack the nonperfect), and a Timid Nature.
I even bred with Toxic Spikes as an egg move in case my fear became a reality.

This one is my fourth Torrent shiny Froakie in a row. And I keep trying for Protean, but I don't think it's gonna happen.

Even forgetting about Protean, a 5 IV Timid Froakie that is shiny? I'm not sure if I'll ever hatch another one as good as this, even if it does get Protean.

So I gotta ask, would you stop if you were me? Or keep going? Would you go for the HA shiny Froakie?

There's plenty people on /vp/ who go hard when they MM. Not only combee guy but, on shiny hunt weekends this girl hatched like 8 female espurrs and she isn't letting go. This guy hatched 675 boxes before getting one shiny aron. Myself I got 3 keen eye sableyes before getting prankster. My advice is you already got 4, do you really want to go halfway only? go all the way, the more torrents you get, the closer you are to protean anyways.

So I've been trying (off and on) to hatch a good shiny froakie with protean, since I happen to really like em aside from the mass bandwagon use. Try a few times last week...no dice. Invested maybe 2 hours trying last week. Today I pick my game up explore a bit for fun, decide to go to daycare and resume hatching. First 5 eggs, fly to lumiose. Think to myself "Man, i'm kinda tired. Maybe i'll get em in thisfirst batch..pfft". First egg hatches..well shit..he's shiny. 5ivs minus HP, hell yeah..not bad.

When PokeBank was released in Japan on that one day last year, I started WT'ing alot (probably like everyone else) and I happened to get a 4IV korean feebas.

I started to breed it to get a 5iv one to use competitively and I was eventually using a 4iv male (australian *mine*) feebas with the korean female to get the 5iv.

After 37 egg's, on Christmas Eve while watching PhantomL0rd on twitch speaking about the time when the police came to his house and nearly arrested him, shiny feebas. :D

I got my MM shiny froakie after 6 boxes. I took a break after the first 3 boxes, then started up again after I got a 6iv ditto. I feel so lucky because it was the shiny I wanted most and it's penta perfect with protean. Don't give up.

I'm in australia and ofc we don't have PokeBank ether. I finished it by writing down each pokemon I didnt have and just worked my way down. I got a giratina from jewing with the ditto and eventually cloned and worked my way around the GTS. It's not that hard to finish it without pokebank, just try.

4 days in to breeding a black furfrou for actual use.
So fucking pissed though. On day one (within the same box, box 2) I got 2 shinies. BEFORE I got the parent IV's up. One was a 1IV ATK and the other was a 2IV ATK/HP. None since getting the mother to 6IV status.

Worry more about your IVs, unless your after a Hidden Abbility there's always the Capsule to change things around, and Skill Link is not Shellders HA.

To be fair, they usually go up on fridays, in about 6 hours from now, so I can't say that there was any warrant for a "Masuda Method General", especially when Shiny Hunt Weekend is so close, and is made up 90% of MM'ers anyway.
