1) Put up Pokemon
2) Bidder wins
3) Ask bidder for FC, and Pokemon IGN, take picture
4)Take picture of them added on your 3DS, and of you selecting them ingame
5)Take picture of you trading them the mon

And there you go. Your proof.

Trade them a pokemon, but also send them the guide digitally. eBay still would usually side with them if they complain.

First of all, the seller is breaking THEIR fucking terms and conditions on digital goods (you own no rights to Pokemon). In any case, the only leverage sellers have is a tracking number.

Most people are too stupid to get their money back but I've had a lot of fun out-jewing people on eBay and getting shinies in the process; especially if the seller is using their primary account (they never want to risk losing their reputation).

It doesn't really matter, it could just be your friend code with some instructions on how to get in contact with you. The buyer will be happy if they get the pokemon they're paying for, and the guide will give you some insurance if they claim they didn't get the product.

Paypal will also not support you because they don't intervene on digital exchanges.

eBay allows digital items to be sold iirc, but Pokemon are not one of those items due to copyright. You can sell eBooks if you have the rights, for example.
