Why is ghost weak to dark?

Who said dinosaurs were cold blooded? or reptiles? Dinosaurs are a seperate classification and it is currently unknown whether they were warm or cold blooded.

But that's wrong. We factually know that the vast majority of dinosaurs were reptilian and cold-blooded. This cannot be argued.

Nah fuck you mate. The only known decendants of the Dinosaurs (birds) are warm blooded. (Realise I understand that not all dinosaurs evolved into birds.) Also, you can't fucking tell whether or not a dinosaur was cold or warm blooded based solely on fossils (citation needed); you would need a young enough fossil for there to be actual flesh left (see: mammoth carcasses frozen in ice).

I'm no paleontologist, but apparently they can. Things like how quickly the bones grew points to a faster metabolism than you'd find on a cold-blooded animal.

I always thought Ice beat dragons cause it traps them or something and they're into that whole mythological shit so it makes sense they would want to trap the really strong stuff in ice. Plus, like >>17592360 said, JRPG.

Now about those ghosts....seriously I don't understand how it's weak to dark. And I'm trying to see your point of view but I don't get it. Didn't ghosts make the crazy guy kill his family at the Amityville thing? how does a bad guy kill ghosts?

The Dark type isn't so much "evil" as it is "pragmatic," or doing what you have to in order to get the job done, if that job is "KO-ing other pokémon." So it'd be more like "I'm going to do whatever it takes to get rid of these stupid ass ghosts haunting me." I guess.

We have a pretty good idea, but we know that certain stem dinosaurs (synapsids) adapted to be warm blooded, but that's only because they were on the road to becoming mammals. Anapsids, though, were the more reptile like dinosaurs that evolved to run cold-blooded, which is the type of stem dinosaur we're most familiar with.
Even in the argument that dinosaurs are closer to today's birds than anything else, birds(flying type) are warm blooded and have a low tolerance for the cold just as dragons would, hence their mutual weakness to the ice type.

There are only four OHKO moves, so there's 15 types of pokémon without one, since there's guillotine and horn drill (normal), fissure (ground), and sheer cold (ice).

If you mean just overpowered moves, they've got Foul Play which can OHKO legendaries.

Anyway the answer to your question. As a cold blooded being, dragons are therefore capable of reaching very cold body temperatures or very HOT body temperatures. So yeah. Ice Beam and flamethrower, aiite?
