this ever happen to anyone else when playing?
finding out you forgot to fight a trainer, and being way overpowered and the whole battle not even worth it?

it sadly happens to me WAY TOO MUCH

More often than it probably should, what really sucks though is when you are running around with a level 35 and run into a trainer in the high level 50s

I was walking into victory road
just wanting to check out what wild pokemon I could get
BOOP not paying attention and now fighitng a lvl60 Weaville and its trainer

Man imagine if you had a bribe function in the later pokemon games.

Like you don't want to fight a trainer, so you can pay them more than you would if you blacked out, and the battle instantly ends.
And then you can battle them at a later time when you walk past them again

Yes. I apparently missed a Hiker in Glittering Cave and a female Trainer on Route 22. I'm like level 80 and they're in their 20's.

Kind of like in Final Fantasy X (not sure about other versions) where you bribed a monster and the battle ended. Can't remember whether or not you got EXP but I know you usually got items.
