Showdown has Battlespot formats, it's just no one plays it since Smogon's rules are better

Showdown:
>is faster
>is less laggy
>is more secure
>has chat
>has better replay functions
>has spectators
>has better players
>makes it easy create/change teams on the fly

3D and muh bros are really the only reason to battle on cartridge, especially when Showdown has other, better formats and Battlespot doesn't. Maybe if Nintendo had tournaments again there'd be a reason to play, but right now it's pointless.
