This is true, things that aren't normal can and have been accepted, but that still depends on public opinion. Considering how people are though, it would not be accepted by quite a sum of people and it would not be considered normal by any means by these same people.
Of course there would be people that argue that it is natural and it should be considered normal.
If anything it would be close to how Homosexuality is treated in our own world.
