So /vp/ tell me. Is the X and Y anime worth watching? Is it an improvement over the last series in any way? I couldn't stand the last series so I need to know if it's safe to watch this new one.

So far it's looking pretty good, but it's quite early still. The problems with B/W didn't become that apparent until a little bit in, so anything could still happen.

Each generation has actually been pretty distinct from each other. There are pretty sharp differences in quality between certain series.
