So what's the deal with Kyogre? I've been playing since Gen 1 and have never played competitively, or even ubers at this point. I hear this dude is a king and I would like someone to tell me why.

Water Spout has a base power of 150 at full HP, Kyogre has base 150 special attack and enough speed to outrun most foes when Choise Scarf'd. STAB and rain, which Kyogre summons, both add 50% power to Water Spout, each. In other words, it hurts like a mother fucker and can OHKO most Pokemon.
