Plus, them having Xerneas, Mewtwo, Talonflame, etc. in their Aimes doesn't really make me eager to battle.

I only play doubles so i couldn't tell.

Seriously though, i am getting tired of playing on cartridge. All those evasion spam teams, lack of rules...

I bought a 3ds with Pokemon Y because i heard of the new online features and thought that it would equal infinite endgame...

Found out about Pokemon Showdown later, and as much as i hate to say it, technically it's better...

I feel like i wasted 200 bucks. (and 200+ hours breeding competitive pokemon)

On one hand, I think OPs real issue is with not being able to put together a good 3v3 team. Doubes 4v4 is perfectly good and fun. Just learn how to play in a different format you raging faggot.

On the other hand, they really did fuck up with the rules concerning legendaries. They banned major legendaries in GenV, why not do it again? Even at that, they still allowed tons of pseudo-legendaries and lesser legendaries (suicune and terrakion to name a couple of the worst) while banning the GenI legendary birds? God, GF, get stuffed.

The major legendaries are banned in ranked, I'm guessing you can probably set it to ban them in passerby battles if you initiate I wouldn't know though since I don't initiate battles, I just accept them when people challenge me.

Team preview + 3v3 single battle = shit. At least in 4v4 doubles, you can usually have a congruent strategy laid out when building your team. 3v3 singles are pretty much just

Just play ranked and don't run into legendaries? Is it really that hard?

The only legendaries that aren't banned are the ones with total basestats of 580 (which is less than pseudolegendaries like metagross, dragonite and salamence have)

Do you see how stupid that is? The fact of the matter is that the majority of players prefer 6v6 singles. If they didn't, Showdown wouldn't be so popular. It would be like if Call of Duty decided they weren't going to put Team Deathmatch in their next game. Gamefreak is just pants-on-head retarded when it comes to doing online functionality.
