I hate Hoenn will all my heart, and gen 3 was the gen I quit Pokemon because I thought some of the new designs were shit.

That said, I have NEVER played a Gen 3 game before, so I'm doing a Nuzlocke Challenge of Pokemon of Emerald to have a memorable first experience.

Standard Nuzlocke rules are applied except there is one change.

All dead Pokemon go to Purgatory(PC), and there is now a revival rule. If one of my current Pokemon die but I have one that I'd like to revive in the PC, I hate to release that dead Pokemon in exchange for the now revived one.
