lol but most of them have to deal with either low base power (80-90 bp shadow ball, scald etc ) or low accuracy (110 bp firr blast, thunder)

Special sweepers are much better because there's no special equivalent for burn or foul play, almost none of them make contact, and there's fewer special walls.

Both have merits, physical pokemon tend to make better wall breakers due to the raw power of some moves.

Where as special attack tend to be faster, albeit a little more frail and are ideal for cleaning up weaker pokemon.

The fact there are 4 in game mechanics to fuck with physical pokemon and exactly 0 that fuck with special attackers annoys me to no end.

This is why special moves got nerfed in XY, and there is exactly one special priority attack, which has fuck all for BP and is only usable on 3 pokemon anyway, 4 if going for the surprise special megachicken.

Think of it this way, blissey/chancey being the fat cunts they are shrug off most SE special attacks right? Where as stuff like skarm and other physically bulky pokemon cannot just sit around and take flare blitzes all day, particularly if you factor in any residual damage.

Special attackers can be wall breakers too, but in the higher tiers it just becomes much harder to do due to blissey/chansey being around.

Although mixed attackers tend to be better at breaking walls anyway.

Even after all of that, physical pokemon has more raw power and more "usable" sweepers than special. You can screw one over, but chances are there's a second powerful physical mon on the team

Options in terms of special pokemon are fairly limited in comparison.

There's no special counterpart to Dragon Dance, and nothing nearly as widespread as Swords Dance. Plus most physical attackers have incredibly coverage since everything gets EdgeQuake/Knockoff/Punch moves.
