I do have to agree with you about the touch screen. The C-Gear in Gen V was absolutely pointless and I never ended up doing anything with it. It was nice in Platinum to see where your berries are growing and where the roaming legendaries are going.
Team Aqua and Magma make everything look excellent since they were hilariously bad villainous teams. I don't like team Galactic either, it's a bit too generic with all the "creating a new world" stuff. I prefer Team Rocket, since they're plain and simple: bad people doing bad stuff. Also, Giovanni is the best villainous team leader.
