I think there's literally no point in Gen 3 remakes.
You can trade up all your bros from Gen 3 to the current Gen and it likely won't change. This wasn't possible with Gen 1 and Gen 2, so they needed remakes

That's all well and good for people who still own the cartridges and the console to play them on. Not everyone can say the same, it's also been over a decade since Gen 3 was released. You have to remember that remakes wouldn't just appeal to older fans, they have their target demographic to market to, and guess who is least likely to own the original cartridges and NDS/ GBA?

Yeah, but, Hoenn is the Jewish region. I don't even mean that as an insult. Its mythological figures are Jewish: Kyogre the leviathan, Groudon the behemoth, Rayquaza the ziz, and Regirock, Regice, Registeel the golems. Except that to do so you would need both a DS or DS Lite and a 3DS. A lot of us do, but the population that doesn't, but still plays pokemon, is pretty large, I think.

In that case, there was no need for a gen 2 remake either. You could complete the entire Pokedex except Ho-oh with just XD and Emerald in Generation 3, so obviously there was plenty of ways to get all of the Johto mons in Gen 4 without HG/SS.

I didn't like it prior to coming on this board, but yeah I find it stupid how people don't want it because they hated the original games. FR/LG was such an improvement to R/B, that's what I'm hoping for when hoenn remakes come out.

They look pretty good, but way too overdesigned for Pokemon MCs. Brendan's wearing three layers, jesus.

Also, too many colors. The yellow isn't necessary. Brendan doesn't need the tie and his pants are too baggy. Neither of them need the hat accessories. May doesn't need a hairclip.

May's hands and legs look nice as fuck, though.
