Why doesn't Gamefreak just make Hidden Power show up as whatever type it is on the status menu? It's not like they're trying to hide it anymore since they even stopped separating the TM's location with the guy who tells you what type it is as of XY.

wow, they sure offer a lot of individuality value when you just keep putting in features that encourage players to max them out anyway! casual players? as if they're going to know about them with random EV spreads, levels, natures, and species hiding them!

I'm more pissed that they gave one of the only Fire types who learn Energy Ball fucking Drought, pretty much giving it a reason to NEVER use Energy Ball.

That's the fucking dumbest excuse for Pokemon not having decent coverage that they desperately need.

Nobody fucking uses Grass-types as special sweepers except for fucking Roserade who is actually used more as a lead and the fact that it has access to Giga drain.

The exact same fucking thing happened with Solarbeam. Every fully evolved Fire Type except Flareon gets Solar Beam. Previously (Gen III) only Entei, Ho-Oh and Rapidash could learn it. Then in Gen IV, they just said fuck it and gave it to every fully evolved Fire Type except Flareon.

The same thing could happen with Energy Ball.

Hardly. Trick roomers are already slower because of negative speed natures and swagger/foul play barely makes a difference. The system is still flawed if they have to be min maxed to be effective when there are a 30-31 values in-between.
