Who are the best teammates for this unkillable faggot?
I'm using a Leech Seed / Giga Drain / Protect / Sludge Bomb set with maximum Special Defense investment and a Calm nature and it just doesn't go down. Everyone forgets it has Thick Fat.
Tyranitar covers his weaknesses perfectly, but Sand Stream is not appreciated by stallflowerdinosaur.

Yeah, Venusaur would actually benefit from the weather nerf, since it would only be hurt for the first few turns after switching in, and presumably Tyranitar would actually spend a turn or two out anyway.

I've been playing with that core for 2 months now. Wanna know the best part?, every set is usable in Rotom-W and Heatran all they need is the sheer synergy. You know, Heatran is actually an effective Talonflame counter on its own. Sure, it doesn't commonly have any coverage to hit Talonflame, but Talonflame sure as hell isn't breaking through you.

Using it made me realize it really wants a cleric ally bad. I currently use a Vaporeon with Scald/Heal Bell/Wish/Protect, along with Heatran making a Grass/Water/Fire core.

Between wishes and leech seed recovery the entirety of my core can remain at really high health throughout the entire match.

Tentacruel is good for rapid spin, toxic and scald. Vaporeon would be a goid option though, as another anon mentioned, as a cleric.

Between the two of them, Rotom-H and Mega Venusaur actually have enough resistances to take over the "Water" part of a FWG core. I've been using Greninja, since it's a decent pivot with U-Turn and gives the core some punch.

Vaporeon would also work, though, as would Gyarados.
And I fucking love how Heat Rotom resists damn near every move Genesect carries.

I'm actually using Skarm as my third wheel right now. But that anon that suggested Vaporeon had a great point. So it comes down to Tentacruel + Vaporeon.

If you want to protect your pokemon from status, go with vaporeon. If you want to prevent entry hazards go with tentacruel. Burns can hurt mega venasaur if it can't get off a leech seed, but SR hurt Rotom, who is also immune to burns and paralysis.
