Just breed, if you get a better parent than the non-ditto, switch it out with the non-ditto.

Breed for nature first if you don't have a good nature.

Use destiny knot on the one without the good nature, and everstone on the one with the good nature. Don't use an everstone if you're breeding for nature.

That's it. That's all you need to know (other than go to Kiloude city to check your IVs)

do i just keep breeding them bitches until I get a perfect one. The best one I got had all but one perfect IV and I had to fill up half a box to get that.

I've been doing the everstone and destiny know thing already. I feel like i'm doing something wrong.

If i'm breeding a mon with 5 perfect ivs with another one with perfect ivs do they have a better chance of having an egg with 6 perfect ivs?

Destiny Knot only passes down 5 IVs from both of the parents, leaving the 6th stat completely random. Even if both the parents were perfect for some reason, you'd still have to be lucky and have that stat generated randomly to be 31.

What are you trying to breed 6 perfect IVs into?

Everytime a baby is made with the destiny knot, it will inherit 5 IVs from its parents.

First it is determined which 5 IVs will be inherited (aka which stat will be RANDOM)

Then the inheritance spread is generated. Which will be inherited from mom, which from dad, and those are 50 50 of course.

You can calculate the statistics yourself. For more basic questions, go to the basic questions thread or make one. Or look up breeding mechanics in a guide
