Fair enough point.
I personally think Chesnaught is good.
Not gonna lie, if I didn't stick to my word, I would've changed to Froakie to get Greninja. But now actually being a Chesnaught trainer, I like him. A lot. I like his bullet proof ability, although no one would use those moves against him to begin with.

Has ended not one, but two of my 100+ win streaks in super single because it's so god damn fast. My greninja lead can't 1KO it and it gets 100% sheer cold and proceeds to outspeed the rest of my team and OKO them. I'm so god damn close to just scrapping my whole team just to try to figure out how to beat this thing.

Oh just want until you run into this thing. It runs 339 speed which outruns anything under 105 base speed and jolly/timid with max evs and will land a 30% instant kill move 100% of the time that isn't resisted by anything in the game.

Unless you lead with something with mach punch or can both outspeed it and hit it with a physical attack then it will end you. My team was greninja/gliscor/porygon2 and it can't even touch this thing.

Frost breath is better than Ice Beam this gen I think, they bumped it from a 40 base attack to 60 base and with the crit it's basically 90 base and ignores defenses. Mediocre offenses my foot.

I liked that gimmick of Wulfric's gym. If you didn't know their stats beforehand, you'd have to win through blind luck or grinding.

He's a fat derpy dinosaur bug and some people think it's lame.

Fairly poor typing aside, I love this dude. It's a solid offensive powerhouse with excellent utility options to boot. My favorite fossil pokemon and my first ever Level 100.

I liked Gliscor since I first saw and raised it in gen 4 before the old Poison Heal was a thing for him, Gligar was alright but couldn't use it as well in the old days. It's one of my favorite ground types and people hate on it because it can wear them down easy.

The fanbase is one thing, but lots of people were also turned off by its whole appearance in general and letdown from the uninteresting typing and how it was the end result of Goomy and Sliggoo, which had produced a decent amount of hype and fanbase when leaked. People also have high expectations of Pseudo Legendaries and Goodra was disappointing in appearance and stats.

It reminds me of a grumpy old man with his grumpy expression, sunken in eyes, and the tuft of gray on his chin. Not to mention the fact he actually uses his concrete pillars as walking canes.

The Pokedex entry for White states
"They use concrete pillars as walking canes. They know moves that enable them to swing the pillars freely in battle."

I'll admit he does look pretty silly with his bulging veins and goofy nose but I still really like Conkeldurr.

He's also great competitively.

Timburr looked so full of promise to me on my first White playthrough. I also, like I assume many people did, pronounced Conkeldurr "conkle-derr" at first. Really turned me off to the guy.

I just wish there weren't 3 Bug/Rock types out there.
Shuckle resists Ground and Fighting at least, good for its playstyle, but Crustle looks more Bug/Ground.
Then Flygon should Bug/Dragon, and everyone will be happy
