It outspeeds all of them, except Genesect, and it has super effective moves against all of them, except Heatran.
Genesect will almost always u-turn out and you should switch charizard out if he encounters heatran.

I recently random matched some japanese guy on WiFi. His team preview had a mewtwo, blaziken, a greninja, something I forgot, and TWO SHINY GENESECTS.

So I got nervous and prepared for righteous slaughter. I became euphoric as I destroyed his mewtwo and oneshotted his greninja. Then the bad feels came rushing in when his genesect switched in and attempted to thunderbolt my swampert.

Lesson learned: I like to assume everyone on the other side is a 24+ year old faggot that deserves to be smashed, but sometimes it's just a silly kid.

Charizard does not outspeed:

Landorus Incarnate
Mega Lucario
Scarfed Genesect (very common)
Scarfed Rotom-W (less common, but still a threat)

If you send in Y blindly it goes down, hard. It takes little more than a sneeze from any physical and even some special attackers (Namely M-Manectric/Thundurus) to bring it down. Mega Pinsir can outspeed and OHKO with Return if it's Jolly instead of adamant.

Also, almost every Heatran is invested in Sp.Def and will take a Focus Blast, then retaliate with Ancient Power. The only way Charizard kills them is predicting the switch, landing Focus Miss, then landing it again. Assuming it isn't scarfed. And that you hit.

People use legends because, well.. they're the best available. They're tough to beat and offer so much coverage/bulk that it's difficult not to be good with a team that has at least two.

It's as if you hate fun. My LC Sandstorm team is a blast, and 1v1 duels give me a real sense of finality. And Random Team has given me tons of insight on how to us Pokemon that I ordinarily wouldn't touch with a 20-meter pole.

In Gen 1 OU there were literally 14 Pokemon and 7 of them were used so often, that you would encounter teams with 5, or even 6 of the same pokemon you use more often than you didn't. And guess what? No one complained, because people knew that having the same pokemon does absolutely not mean having the same battles. It is and has always been the little differences in your movesets (and nowadays EV spread, items, etc.) and prediction that make the difference. If you want to see every fucking pokemon out there being used start playing CC, which is a cool and underrated metagame btw.

The only ones on there that actually are bullshit are Genesect (who's annoying but just too good for OU) and Mega Luke (who is a broken whore.) They're both being suspect tested now, which is funny because, while Mega Like isn't a blatantly broken as Mega Kangaskhan was, it's still obviously way too powerful and they're wasting their time.

The rest of them are good, but really easy to handle. Half my team is UU and I'm still in the top 200.

Why the fuck do people think something wtith less than 20% usage is too good? Uber was considered a banlist initially for pokemon that are so fucking good that they centralize the metagame completely around them. Something that isn't even used on 1/5 of all teams does clearly not do that. Also, while Mega-Luke is obviously strong it's far from unstoppable.

Hazards broke your sash, Luke kills.

Heatran uses flash cannon, or just will-o-wisp. Or floats with its balloon.

Lando-t outspeeds and ohkos, if it was an actually good attacker with ice/water it would use u-turn.

Yeah I sure like spending hours to get a full team. I especially love the lack of transfer moves that should have been available a month ago, and the lack of 6v6 singles or doubles on battlespot.

I do play the game, with friends, but if I feel like trying new things, I am not going to spend hours on it beforehand.
