Can't Find Good Pokemon Music on YT

I'm trying to look up the RBY music on youtube but every song has this weird echo effect like it's being palyed in a tin can.

Is this a deliberate thing or is it what happens whne you transfer the songs from gameboy to a better sound system? Where can I find unaltered music?

Yes, they added a reverb effect in the official OST. The tracks that are included in FireRed/LeafGreen's and X/Y's respective OSTs don't have it, though.

Yeah, Pikachu Records is the one at fault for the reverb effect in the OST's tracks. They're a label under Media Factory's charge that releases official Pokémon music. (article on Japanese Wikipedia – https://ja.wikipedia.org/wiki/%E3%83%94%E3%82%AB%E3%83%81%E3%83%A5%E3%82%A6%E3%83%AC%E3%82%B3%E3%83%BC%E3%83%89)

Even the playlist I sent you has its flaws but it doesn't have the reverb effect on the tracks as far as I'm aware.
