So I need to get a lot of dittos with various natures so I can save some time starting breeding programs.

Would I be better off going straight for the ditto, or for synchronizers that can catch me dittos and wild pokemon of the same nature?

I'd advise getting a Ditto Safari, since the encounters are more reliable than in Pokemon Village, and every Ditto will have 2 perfect IVs, which usually cuts down the number of breeding cycles. Once you have the Safari though, you just need dedication to catch a Ditto of each nature, which for me, took the better part of 2 days. Depends how serious you are about this project.

I have a ditto safari, thankfully.

Just having shit luck getting natures. A lot of the box and a half or so seem to be calm or mild, for some reason, and I don't have a synchronizer on my team.

I think I just have shit luck. My first shiny in an actual pokemon game was yesterday...

Or you can just simply:
catch some abras in your safari(a full box for start)
see if you have a sincronize abra of the nature you want
And now go to hunt for dittos, and now that any ditto is the nature you want you can aim also for 3iv instead of 2

You're better off hatching them, it'll take less time on average. Additionally, you want them to get fainted so you'll start with your Catcher/Tracer/whatever is in spot #2.

Keep trying, OP. The odds aren't astronomical, it's just a matter of time. All you need is patience.

Alternatively and this is a long shot you can search your PC boxes for ANY Adamant Pokemon you already have, and try to cross-breed it with one of the Synchronize Psychic types. You'd be surprised which Pokemon are compatible with each other inb4 hot skitty on wailord action

I think I found an adamant ditto because I had an adamant slowpoke laying around. Bred it with a stunfisk, then bred that with a ralts to get adamant synch ralts.
