ITT: post mons you love that aren't competitively viable, and anons suggest sets to make them somewhat viable

pic related, love this guy so much but have no idea how to use him. i tried a gimmicky priority set with fake out/aqua jet/ice shard/avalance, but it couldn't even 2HKO a 4x resist. any suggestions?

i loved toxicroak last gen, used him on a rain team with substitute/drain punch/sucker punch/bulk up and it was amazing. however it might not be as potent now that there's no perma rain (so no perma-dry skin)

I made a specially defensive Dewgong with surf, rain dance, rest and encore and hydration as it's ability. It worked decently for a Dewgong I suppose. You can hold leftovers or damp rock. If you have someone else to set up rain then you can drop rain dance for ice beam for more coverage or aqua ring for more bulk.
