After 40 encounters in friend safari I still haven't seen an Espurr with own tempo and I need one for a prankster Meowstic. Am I doing something wrong or am I unlucky?

If your friend isn't online then you'll only have like a 5 or 10% chance of the pokemon having its HA. you're just unlucky

Males can pass HA this gen, albeit at a lower ratio. This only works if you use a Ditto however. If you get a Male with HA and a female with no HA, there's a chance, although lower, to get an egg with HA

OP Isn't telling about using Ditto for breeding, i told him to get a Female With HA for breeding so he can breed with one of the safari's Espurrs
