The key is to not expect to get it within 40 boxes.

If it's really that hard for you to go over 5 boxes, then you probs shouldn't be MM'ing. You're better off in the safari, chaining, or GTS hunting

Abra has been my bane today, two shiny abras in one day my ocd makes me need to use premier balls but no they could not just get caught they had to brake free and teleport not too upset seen as i have over 25 shinys now but still would have loved to have alakazam the safari has gothorita and espurr both of which i wanted more but still i get two abras instead and they both teleport big surprise.

Pretty bad. I've actually tried on Thursday to get a shiny Poochyena, but I still can't do it. At this rate, I'd be happy with getting Zigzagoon (since they're also cute).

completed my shiny ghost collection today ;-;
(family-wise at least, not sure if i can stomach the idea of going for every individual ghost type yet)
I've been so lucky this gen, it's my first time masudaing for anything and I've probably only hatched 800 or so eggs total, 3 of them shiny. If I can be so lucky then so can you!!

That's actually really good. Goodra is an amazing special wall/tank and can also hit pretty hard to boot. I'd say you got pretty lucky, because it even has its HA. I have a trainer battle where I use one that's Modest (I point that out as yours would be more bulky should you use it) I can post the code for it if you want. I took some decent special hits IIRC

It depends on what you need. Since you aren't putting EVs into attack, you can probably ignore Power Whip. Giga Drain is good with recovery, but you have Regenerator for that. Leaf Storm, is good for its power and its stat drop won't affect your other moves.

The Tangrowth I have is Relaxed, 252 in SpDef, 252 in HP, 4 in Def. It works great with Assault Vest, making it like it was base 100. My moveset is Sludge Bomb, Giga Drain, Knock Off, Earthquake. If you don't copy this set, at least think about move options or something. Just so that I can feel like I helped. ;-;
