None of those came from seeing the first movie in theatres. Shining Mewtwo was in a normal TCG set, Mewtwo came with the VHS release, and Mew was given to people who saw the second movie opening week. (there were promos of the three birds for anyone who saw it afterward. They're a lot rarer)

I always thought that I had some ultra rare mew card (It was japanese and holographic, and I think it was "ancient"). I could never find it after I was 6, and it would have easily been my most rare card.

Cinemas were too loud for me when it was released. I double checked, it was the same year as Chicken Run, and my dad had to take me out of the theatre because it was too loud. I really wish I had seen any of the Pokémon movies in cinemas.

When I was around 11 sold my Dragonite card I got at the cinema to some younger kid for 20€ when Pokémania was dying out. MFW I could probably get 50€ for it this day on eBay
