For long hatch times, I tend to collect a box, head to lumiose and do the coin trick around the center loop, replacing my party when they all hatch so I can do something else in the mean time

So last Monday, right after Sunday's last thread was deleted, at egg number 751 making it my first egg of box 26. I'm so happy it's my first MM shiny and I finally got off the ride. My next MM will be a shiny Pidgey but not quite sure when I'll start that. But on the downside my shiny Bulba only has 1 IV and it's SpD ;-; but I'll still evolve him and use him because he's fucking adorable. Not gonna bother EV training though, he's just more of a trophy and in game shiny.

I got my first Pokemon game for my 10th birthday, along with a Gameboy Advance. I'd liked Pokemon for years at that time and really wanted Silver, so my parents got me that even though I think Ruby and Sapphire were out. I played the absolute shit out of that game, and also got my first non-scripted shiny (a Krabby, later a Kingler) on it - I had no idea what shinies were, I just saw the sparkles and the tiny stars in the stat screen and thought it was cool. Found the game while tidying my room like five years later, I had
790 hours play time, and this was before the age of MMing.. I went back to it and played a bit over the years, but about 2 years ago I got that "the internal battery has run dry" message when I booted it up. Sad times.
Oh, around a year or two after I got Silver was also when I got my first "boyfriend."
After we got together, we'd just do the same stuff we always did - have soft gun wars and play/trade Pokemon to make a mutual friend jealous.

I got Red and Blue with a clear white Gameboy Pocket the christmas that game came out! I remember playing that game a lot, but Gold and Silver were my jam, I played that for years! I caught all 251 pokemon, and I even had a monopoly on the Mystery Gift system. I would regularly make my friends do things with me to get the maximum amount of stuff we could!
After second gen, I sort of dropped out during 3rd gen, but then got Sapphire, then Ruby, then Emerald, and I gotta say, I loved Emerald the best, gameplay wise, but the Swampert and Rayquaza from Sapphire have been with me since then, and I have them in my Black 2 waiting to be transfered
...never... After that, I got my first boyfriend in High School and we played the shit out of Diamond and Pearl, and then got Platinum on my birthday after its release!
After him, I had a short rebound with some REALLY autistic guy who was super socially awkward.
Then I met Nikki, who I got Black, White and Black 2 with. I played a lot of Black but not much black 2. My relationship with her ended after 2 years, and then I stopped playing Black 2 for a bit, but then, after X/Y's announcement, I picked Black 2 up and started MM'ing. And that's where I am now. With my current girlfriend, Tori, and I'm obsessed with Pokemon, and trying to get her into this

I mean, the chances of hatching a shiny has been pretty consistant whether theres 300 eggs hatched, 1000 eggs hatched or their current total at 81467 eggs hatched. The english text must have been a mistranslation seeing as the japanese text is unchanged, and it would seem crazy to assume that Gamefreak altered the code on their region's copy inorder to make sure Japanese copies kept the same rates.
The data proves that the shiny charm affect hatch rates.
