OP I strongly encourage you to fuck off of /vp/ for a year or so when Gen VII rolls around. I wish I could have done it for Gen VI, but an injury kept me inside/on my ass for way too long.

They did pretty well at keeping the full gen 6 dex secret until it came out. You'd have to be active on specialised sites like /vp/ to see it early, so if you got spoiled it's your own fault.

Seeing Metagross for the first time while fighting the Champion was cool. Evolving Torchic was disappointing. Yes, I was one of those faggots expecting a phoenix. Or a goofy fighting rooster after seeing Combusken.
