I never reseted my Pokémon Blue save file. I had my Pokémon Blue since 1998 (birthday gift). This year, I quickly checked my game and apparently the cartidge battery was over, and so was my save, including my charizard that was as old as my 16 year old brother

the current file, which I last played 3+ years ago has 139/151 in the dex
