I feel like the game kinda drags on a bit, especially considering each time you start a new scenario you have to build everything up again. It's fairly slow paced and requires a lot of planning before you make any major moves. So that can be a little off-putting.
Otherwise, really solid game. Kind of a double whammy for me because I like both Pokémon and Samurai Warriors (yes I know it's based on Nobunaga's Ambition, but the warlord designs are taken from SW3) so I kinda love everything about it. Also the concept of simply forming a bond with a Pokémon rather than capturing it appeals to me.
tl;dr: Game's a bit slow and grindy but I really dig the concept and setting so I overlook it.
