I'm fairly recent, being a post XY guy. I was bored enough to finally break the "don't go to 4chan" policy and /vp/ was the board I was recommended by some dudes I know.

Been a semi-regular here since. I should probably consider checking out some other boards but eh.

I went on /vp/ a bit when it was created but then left, mostly because I didn't really played pokemon back then (my last game was HeartGold).
But when XY was announced I've decided that I would buy it and start playing Pokemon again, so I went on /vp/ from time to time before XY release, and now since the release I go on /vp/ everyday.

I came to /vp/ around August of 2012, but started visiting much more frequently leading up to BW2.

This board was really slow for a while a bit after BW2 was released.

I only started browsing /vp/ some time near the release date for BW2. Although I've only noticed a decline in quality when its hype season. /vp/ around this time of year seems alright.

I visited /vp/ when the board was first created and around the same time lost interest in gen 4.
I only really started browsing /vp/ leading up to the BW releases.

I don't know where that puts me but I was here for day 1 so that's what I voted for.

I honestly don't remember because I didn't have the current gen when I started coming to /vp/. I would assume it was around the buildup to b/w, because everyone was talking about new revealed shit with Shanghai/New York and complaining about Garchomp and shit... I really don't know OP, but I guess another anon could date me with that info.

I skipped gen 5 and 4, tried to get some competitive/breeding tips and safari codes on other forums but safari people were usually asshats and "competitive" fags just couldn't shut up about smogon shit...

I think I started coming here between HGSS and BW, though I know it wasn't too long after the board was put up.
I wasn't here for the really dark times like the ticklish aerodactyl and I think I missed the board when it was /tr/ and was filled with furries autists and porn, but I remember on my first day Kyo and Bui acting like faggots and they were still around or another couple of months or so. So I feel like I've been here for most of the board's history.
