Yeah I'm still trying to figure out what physical attacker to use to fill that last slot, I might swap out Aerodactyl for something else. Pinsir is great but lacks the move pool I would want on this particular team

aerodactyl should have a stab move of some sort, ideally stone edge. m-aerodactyl is so rediculously fast he can afford an adamant nature instead of jolly.

switch protect on dusclops out for night shade/seismic toss so he isn't complete taunt bait

gengar prefers the 30% chance of poisoning from sludge bomb over the very small dmg boost from sludge wave. even though sludge bomb is blocked by bulletproof, chesnaught is very uncommon and you already hit him supereffectively with dazzling gleam

Your team doesn't have very much cohesion, and it has a very distinct weakness to fighting type pokemon. I would recommend a ghost type setter, maybe Claydol or SlashySword

you're better off with a different mega besides banette, especially since you already have aegislash as your ghost. m-absol could work probably

if you're using an aggron with head smash and rock head it really shouldn't have aggronite, that's counter productive. automotize is also a better variant of rock polish that lowers the damage of weight based moves (most notably low kick). so imo switch aggronite for lefties, iron head for earthquake and fire punch for ice punch for all around better coverage

1.) Goodra isn't THAT tryhard. Especially not the set I'm running
2.) I like Aegislash because of how GF represented the swordplay in game, and how you can win pretty much any matchup if you can outpredict your opponent
3.) Infernape was my bro in D/P. I actually just started a new playthrough of Y with Chimchar as my starter
4.) If you couldn't tell by the names, I'm a scientist, specifically a biochemist. I really like Deoxys, and not just because he's good.
5.) Karenfagging is about winning with your favorites, not making bad pokemon good. It's about ignoring whether a pokemon is strong or not.

Completely re-do Jirachi's moveset. I recommend using iron head with serene grace for that 60% chance to flinch. Also take fire blast off Absol, that makes no sense. It's uses sp atk which Absol doesn't have much of, and swords dance only boosts atk. Also remove Archeops completely and replace it with something better, its ability is completely debilitating and it doesn't even have good stats to make up for it

You have a total of two Pokémon that beat suicide burd. once your Mandibuzz and Hippowdon are out of the way, it walks all over your offense. Mega Pinsir is also a problem, considering you can't switch Buzz in on Return.

"Once these certain two pokemon are gone, you're liable to get swept by something" can be said for quite a lot of attackers. Mandibuzz and Hippowdon can both stay around for a long time, they're both extremely sturdy walls.

Also, Bisharp can take Talonflame down with it, since Brave Bird doesn't 2HKO; it has to use Flare Blitz, which does not have priority. Sucker Punch takes out nearly all of its health and it'll lose the rest of its health from recoil.

For use in a Mono-type tournament with friends.
I'm aware of how much Sap-Sipper Azumarill sucks, but one of my friends' favourite type is Grass, so I feel like it'll be a great surprise. Not sure about Belly Drum on it though.

I've got to be honest, I have no idea what I'm doing. All my wins have come from either forfeits from ambipom killing something right off the bat or getting azumarill in after sableye swaggers something and sweeping them with aqua jet. The hawlucha is my back up if azumarill fails, got someone to forfeit after he lost his aegislash to a fling.

I hate chansey and heatran but I don't know what else to use, I think I need a good special wall and heatran seems easy to just plug in and use.

Yeah this is what confuses me, that's a wasted slot on a Swords Dance set. I'd be careful running Swords Dance on Absol anyhow, there are a lot of things that will outright kill it before it has a chance to hit back. If you're going to use Swords Dance, back it up with Substitute when forcing a switch out or if you lead with it.

If you're going to use Fire Blast (which is a set I run myself) you're going to need to scrap Swords Dance for a different move. It's moreso entirely filler. If you use it in-game, run it with Protect if you want to be safe, or Sub if you want to force a swap. Otherwise it actually has supporting moves if you want to paralayze/poison/burn things coming in on the swap.

I usually start with Meinshao and Masquerain, fakeout + intimidate usually does a good job at disrupting the first turn in someway and allows Masquerain to quiver up. I then pass to either clefable and cosmic power up a bunch or ninetales depending on the situation. Drought works really well with clefable's and trevenant's recovery and meinshao works really well scouting and knocking off.
In all I am really happy with this team's results.

Takes 30 minutes(if you're watching a show) to get DPulse on a Haxorus.
Takes less than 1-3 minutes to breed it with a Charizard, and only 2 minutes to hatch it with Hatching Power 2 + Flame Body.
Takes 30 minutes (again, if you're watching a show) to get that Charizard to level 70+.
Takes 30 minutes to fill an entire box with eggs, or at least get a considerable amount of eggs in that box, after breeding Charizard + Dpulse with a safari ditto, or a cloned ditto.
Takes less than an hour to hatch all those eggs, and get a penta/hexaperfect Charizard with DPulse, and optional HP of choice.

That's 3 hours worth of work, that you can space out within a week.

"Doing well" on Showdown is meaningless since the majority of ladderfags are awful.

First off Sableye doesn't really do much for your team. It's "annoying" to ladder noobs but dead weight against well built teams.

Scope Lens Kingdra is suboptimal because it's too slow and frail to abuse the crits.

Try fitting Roost somewhere on Charizard for longevity. I'd suggest it over Air Slash.

Lol Excadrill

Swords Dance Aegislash is mediocre. It's not very strong despite its base 150 attack because of the lack of power behind its STAB moves. Mixed Aegislash is much more effective.

Florges doesn't do anything for your team and is outclassed by Sylveon anyway

Mixed Virizion has helped me a lot, baiting Landorus-T and Gliscor and OHKOing with HP Ice. I could replace Zen Headbutt though, that was randomly thrown on.

Goodra has been doing pretty well on the team. Originally his main job on the team was to counter BooBoo Keys (which he does wonderfully)

My friend suggested that I use Taunt, it's helped sometimes.

Yeah I've been toying with Natural Gift Talonflame but it isn't really needed. Originally I just had a Band and U-Turn so I could hit a predicted counter with it and go to a counter of my own.

I've tried a bunch of different stuff out with this team, and I feel like something's not cutting it. Not sure what.
This team used to have Rotom-w instead of Venusaur, but my team sucked against fighting type, so I figured Venusaur's bulk would be enough to help out while giving me a better special attacker and something to deal with Rotom on my own. I also used to have a DD mega T-tar, which got me kills, but died too often or got crippled by burn or something and I realized he'd be better defensively.
I've also tried psychic on Landorus which is nice and WoW on the slug which is also alright, not sure if having them is better or not.
Things I don't use: Scizor's super power and Chomp's poison jab. Chomp is pretty limited for late game sweeping, so I don't really mind only ever using quake and outrage, but Scizor's last move is sort of lost on me. He feels like the weakest part of my team except for the occasional bullet punch that saves the day.
Any tips? Things you notice? would you rate it a Smogon/10?

In the Mixed Virizion case, I guess you could try mixed with CM / Close Combat / Giga Drain / HP Ice since you'll still be able to lure those mons in and then threaten a sweep.

With that, you could also try going back to CB Talonflame to further break physical walls.

With both lure Virizion and CB Talonflame breaking down physical cores (as well as serving as secondary win conditions), you could try a strong physical sweeper like SubSalac Garchomp who can also check Keys while threatening a sweep

Give alakazam disable if you're bent on a status move, torment isn't good on him as he's frail

Scizor should probably have bullet punch on there somewhere, and as much as I like swampert, chestorest won't get you too far as he wears down really easy and you lack a cleric.
Trace on porygon2 is good for things like flash fire/toxic heal/ et cetera, while analytic can be good for power I think a defensive set is a lot better with trace

They should be running a mixed set, since mixed set Aegislash is best Aegislash.

Ambipom and Persian are the same speed tier... and Ambipom has better defenses. Switch to ambipom if you want to git gud

What do you think about this? I got to 1500 with it, but now I'm stuck. What could I improve?
And no legendaries please, I'm testing this for an ingame team I want to build and getting legendaries with good IV is too much of a pain.

The basic idea is to take out everything that could possibly stand in the way of a clefable sweep, by either killing it or crippling stallers with sableye. My main problems seem to be blissey and chansey.

Thinking HP Ice or Trick instead of HP Ground on Chandy since HP Ground usually doesn't OHKO Heatran and HP Fighting doesn't do much against Tyranitar, who can easily kill back.

I don't have a SR setter on my team so I think that might be best over Knock Off, but they're both great moves to have. I have HP Ice on my Trick Scarf Rotom-W/M so I'm thinking maybe Stone Miss, but that accuracy is putting me off. I'd only go Naive if I'm using HP Ice because I don't plan on keeping Landorus-T in against any Special attacks, especially Ice Beams, so SpD isn't a priority, Jolly otherwise.
