What pisses me off most of all about this Bank fiasco is the complete lack of communication. Every week they tweet "Stay tuned for more information", but they're not actually going to give us any information.
Who knows, maybe there's a legitimate excuse for why it's taken them 5+ weeks to recover from a simple traffic spike. Maybe they've actually been hard at work getting something done all this time. Maybe there's a really good reason for them to stagger the releases despite previously making a big fuss about simultaneous international releases this generation. But if they're not going to tell us what it is, why should I accept their lack of an excuse?
5+ weeks of downtime without telling anyone what's going on would be simply unacceptable anywhere else. But since it's Nintendo, you idiot fanboys will put up with such horrid treatment and make up your own excuses to try and justify this bullshit in their stead. But no matter how you look at it, there's no justifying their silence.
I was originally planning on buying a subscription, now there's no way in hell I will. I'm not paying for such a horribly mismanaged service that would treat customers this poorly. Just gonna grab the transporter trial, move my old 'mons, get Celebi, and then delete it forever. And I doubt I'm the only one feeling this burned, I'm sure they've lost a lot of sales thanks to this PR fiasco.
All they had to do was talk to us. If there really was a good reason for all this, surely it wouldn't have been hard to tell us. I wouldn't have minded the delay if they had just been more open about it instead of leaving us in the dark. That's the part that really upsets me.
