Before Pokébank's worldwide shutdown back in December 2013 someone was playing around with Pokécheck and region codes to check whether the mons had the pentagon mark and basically discovered that there at least two games in the making probably set in Kalos (hence the mark) and two of them that COULD be set in another region, maybe Hoenn? (since the ones without the mark come "from a faraway region" according to the mon's description in the game).
Did anyone try to verify what happens going beyond 1F? If they keep having the "faraway region" description then this probably means nothing. It could always become a bad egg, though.
