It helps to have a Wish-passer like Vaporeon or Umbreon to patch it up once in a while, but even without that it usually survives long enough to rob the opponent of their momentum. Immune to most entry hazards too, and any Stealth Rock damage it heals off with Toxic Sludge immediately.
