The whole deal of flying types being immune to ground is that they're in the air, they don't care about earthquakes. (Which doesn't explain why they're immune to being shot blobs of mud, that would throw any bird off the air, clumping their feathers and shit, but still).
Hawlucha only flies when attacking.
