tl;dr Has anyone been "banned" yet from using PokeTransporter/PokeBank after transferring poorly made hacks?

If that's the reason you're not going to play competitively, then you need to seriously stop and think for a moment.
They're getting numbers in a game illegally (by game rules) which you can easily get legally. Numbers which don't even make a big impact in most situations.
If you have trained Pokemon, and you know what you're doing, you can still beat genned pokemon fairly easily. You shouldn't miss out on the entire battling experience just because some people have no morals.

What the most off-putting thing for me is them getting move tutor moves from gen3-5 with a few clicks of the button

What's this ban I keep hearing about? I've never genned, but considering some of the sweet deals I got on the gts negotiations, I'd say some might be fake. Do I really have to pokecheck every god damn one just in case someone traded me a fake so I won't get banned?

OP here. That was my question that wasn't answered.

I just went ahead and transferred whatever isn't obviously-hacked and hoped for the best.

For example, all of my first box got through, it put all items in my 5th gen bag but a hacked shedinja was left behind in Box 1.

Clones of legit Pokemon from 5th gen get through as far as I can tell. I have multiple events.

Sorry, bruv. But after some experimenting I can tell you some things that slip through:

>Impossible Pokemon/Ball combinations
>Renamed events, even ones from other regions
>Changing the regions of events
>Suspicious OTs like "00000"

Pokecheck checks all these things, but they slip though the transporter anyways.

Yeah, I assumed all those.

I honestly don't care if my hackedmons don't make it to X/Y. If they do, great. if not, oh well. I'll be selling or donating my 5th gen games once all my worthy stuff is transferred.
