It's the first, so it's go nostalgia on its side. It's OK on its own merits though, except Ash dying and being revived by Pokemon tears was bullshit.

Heroes was OK, if only for the hilarious amounts of ship teasing it had. How many people care about the actual plot as opposed to the Ash/Latias relationship? My guess is very few.

Zoroark, Master of Illusions had a pretty cool villain in Grings Kodai. He vaguely reminded me of Elliot Carver from Tomorrow Never Dies, although Elliot was much cooler (thanks, Jonathon Pryce!)

That said, they win in my eyes due to minor plot aspects; the main plots tend to be kind of lame. I wouldn't touch the rest with a 20-foot long pole.

The plot points related to Annie and Oakley were pretty shit

But the lore surrounding the latis, awesome chase scenes and the fucking intro made it the best

All the Gen4 movies I thought were okay, the only ones I didn't like were Victini, Jirachi and My Little Pony

I really liked the Zoroark movie. I haven't seen all of them, but I think that this one is my fave. The plot was surprisingly deep, and I found myself really getting into it.

The villain was repugnant, though. That scene where he's pretty much strangling Celebi to death? Jeez.

I still haven't seen the Keldeo or Victini and Reshiram/Zekrom ones though.

The plot sounds pretty good. Keldeo training to become a swordspony like the musketeers, defeating... some other mon, ect. Keldeo's pretty cute, so I think it'd be a really good watch if done well.

Yeah, Kodai was an asshole.

Helps that, at least in the manga, he's the only Pokemon movie villain to actually die, as well, if I recall. Kind of solidifies what a douche he is.

I found Darkrai to be dull at points, but it's not that bad. Atleast it has ome decent action sequences. Temple of the Sea failed even at that.
