That feel when pokemon you got in a past trade apparently weren't legit and can't be pokebank'd

side note: I'm going to punch my friend in the dick for telling me the shaymin he traded me wasn't hacked

not op, but this is probably what I'll have to have someone do for me later. I lost my DS and games in a house fire and have slowly rebuilt my pokedex, but ones like Arceus and Manaphy I'm probably going to have to have hacked as much as it galls me to do it.

Out of curiosity, how much of a demand is there for event legendaries and shit?

I've got a ton I can easily clone from Diamond because I used to collect them. And they're all legit since I actually went to the events.

Incidentally this is why almost nobody will ever have their pokebank access revoked despite the agreement thing at the start. Short of a serial case of poor hacks making several boxes of failures many, many times, there is no reasonable way to tell if a person hacked a pokemon themselves or just unknowingly got a bad one in a trade.
