What moves should I put on a utilitymon of pic related in-game? I've got Dark Void already and will probably put Hold Back onto it, and I'd like to get Happy Hour if anyone has a Smeargle with that (how valuable are HH Smeargles, exactly?) but beyond that I'm not sure what else I could put on it.

perhaps I just need to git gud, but why does anyone want Dark Void on a smeargle when they could have Spore?

I know it doesn't work on grass, but I'd rather have a 100% chance of success and carry soak for those....

Bump anyway cause Smeargle is the best Pokemon ever.

I asume it hits muliple targets. I haven't tried it on a horde.

Soak is a good idea, and I may replace Dark Void with spore although hitting every target in a Horde is a pretty good argument against it. Can people think of anything else? Happy Hour/Dark Void/Soak/Hold Back sounds bretty gud to me, but I'm open to hearing more options.

Recover: Lum Berry. Chesto Berry. Sleep Talk.

Preventative medicine is more effective, though.
Magic Bounce. Insomnia. Vital Spirit. Marvel Scale. Substitute. Taunt. Magic Coat. Multi-hit kill.Counter-status. Safeguard/Misty Terrain/Electric Terrain. Some of these are more situational than others, but the point I'm trying to make is if it's that big an issue for you it's not at all hard to counter.

How are you bad enough at the game to not see it coming a mile away? If you're in Doubles and you see a Smeargle, Dark Void is going to be involved. In Singles it will likely be Spore, but in Doubles there's no contest.

How was that even pulled off? An Instacheck relic? I've gotten a handful of 6 IVs from breeding, but that in conjunction with shininess sounds incredibly rare

You're an idiot, straight up. Dark Void Smeargle is so common that you can justify one of many, many useful counters as listed at >>17886107 which mostly have uses beyond countering Dark Void. Safeguard/Misty Terrain prevent all status. Magic Coat is like Magic Bounce but impossible to predict. Taunt shuts down a number of things. Substitute is Substitute. All you have to do is make a team with a single good Pokemon on it to counter this dumbass infinitely-predictable strategy. Sorry that you're either a karenfag of the highest degree or you're still living in the BW2 era of Hyper Offense, aka the "what is support" era, but that's no one's problem but your own.
