Has anyone tried to transfer a pokemon who can megaevolve and whose forme byte is set accordingly?

Can you imagine? Megas outside of battle.

The hardest part about messing with data that doesnt exist in gen 5 is the fact that you need to somehow put it into your bank without going through the GTS.. Correct me if I'm wrong, but you can only do that with an r4 card and pokesav. I tried putting a gen 6 move on a smeargle and it crashed my game through the GTS.
