Today was a HUGE day! This is my Arcanine. What makes him special? He's been threw trial after trial of transfers. It all started at yellow. "Jude you can't trade from yellow to a gba game." SHUSH I'M NOT FINISHED! Pokemon CAN be saved/transferred from yellow to a computer via emulator. Long story short it went from my computer to FireRed via action replay. Then to emerald. Then to platinum. Then heart gold, then white, and finally black 2. And now she's gone from there to the bank and now to my X and Y for I love her so. Anyone else with similar stories?

I imagine it comes from not actually being a yellow Pokemon. OP kept it as a save but really the AR killed its yellowness. So it was assigned one from fire red I assume

I think that person was just saying a few of you are being dicks. Anyways yeah you can transfer it and it will show up as a yellow Pokemon but not be your yellow Pokemon. There's really no reason for this OP just has an attachment to it obviously

Well, I guess you could take the DVs in gen1/2, double them, randomize a nature and PID (and other stuff introduced in gen 3), and then stick it in a Gen 3 game.
