It's not that Talonflame is hard to take down. At all. It's that a billion people use it and they act as though they're mindless sheep following one strategy: Brave Bird/Flare Blitz everything and do as much damage as you can before you die.
I like to see diversity, whether it be in movesets or Pokemon (better Pokemon though.)
It's the same thing with Aegislash. Everybody just sends it out, spams King's Shield every other turn and attacks the next.
