HA starters are piss easy

On Pokegen just use the regular ability (Overgrow/Blaze/Torrent) and set the extra bytes (66 (0x42)) to 1

Quite a while back there were those distro threads. Literally everything I got through that made it. The only pokemon that did not get through was the level 100 Arceus I got illegitimately that I believe was a dupe of US Toys R Us Arceus.

Start using Pokecheck and download Mons that have very few yellow text flags, that's how I got my Events through.
It's also common knowledge now, but try to avoid Shiny Manaphys and Jirachis, even though they're possible to achieve, Bank doesn't think they're legit since they're obtained by trading and abusing egg values and GF's shitty coding on spin-off game events, respectively.

As for the Darkrai, it's possible if it originated from Platinum as you could get the event item to go to Newmoon Island.

They are tradeable. Just locally, from what I can tell.

I generated a Sheer Force Totodile and transferred it over by setting it's ability to Torrent while setting the end bytes to 1.

I then bred it, and successfully traded a Sheer Force Totodile baby to my girlfriend's game.

Haven't tested it with local battles yet though.

Were you connected to the Internet when you did it? That's probably why.

You can trade them between physical copies of the game within your immediate area, when you're not connected to the internet. If say you have a bunch of friends over and you're all playing Pokemon, but not connected to the Internet, they should show up in your friends section as people nearby. Then you can trade them.

Is there anything I should know before trying? I always keep the nicknames as the pokemons original name incase that would flag anything up but is there anything else that it usually flags up?

Anyways, when I try to reset their nicknames I get this error: "All characters in name are valid.
Invalid terminator sequence in trash bytes."

When I use another Pokemon's file and trash bytes to try and copy everything, I get a "length limit reached" error in Pokegen. So I've got no clue what the hell I'm doing wrong.

simple, you take the amount of characters in the nickname, and subtract that from 11. If you have a Latias, the name you would put into the nickname box would be Latias\FFFF\0000\0000\0000\FFFF Because Latias is 6 characters.
Also remember that the trashbyte section must start and end with FFFF

Yup.. heres what I go so far:
-heracross in love ball with pursuit
-chikorita in nest ball with grass whistle and heal pulse
-totodile in dive ball with DD and ice punch
-cyndaquil in fast ball with reversal (extrasensory wouldnt get through for some reason)
-eevee(s) in love/moon/safari/dive balls with heal bell, hyper voice, and wish.

i think i figured it out now, but i havent transferred the pokes yet. pretty much just find your sid and set up your seed for whatever time/date and then pid generation should be easy

since i only have pokemon black, if i wanted say a latios/latias from black/white 2 shiny i'd have to use pokegen to make a secret id that matches the shiny pid

Guys! I got it to work!

The trick to getting an apricorn/non-standard HA Eevee that will pass through Poketransfer with Egg moves is setting its encounter type to (Poketransfer) like Gen 4 pokemon would have if you migrated them to Black/2 or White/2.

The only thing I'm not sure about is whether or not they'll be allowed on Battle Spot.

I would, but I want it to have Hyper Voice as well which is a Tutor only move. This ball/encounter/move combination is like eight different kinds of illegal to the point where I don't think it'll play nice with anything.
