So I transferred over the last Pokemon I needed for my National Pokedex today- Landorus, which I spent the last 2 days grinding for in Dream Radar.

But for some reason, the game doesn't seem to realise that I've actually caught it. The Pokedex entry shows up, but it still says 718 seen and 717 caught, meaning I can't get the Shiny Charm.

Has this happened to anybody else? I'm really disappointed right now.

Don't you not actually need event Pokemon to get the Shiny Charm? Sounds like you might be missing something else, maybe a normal Pokemon that you just forgot about.

No, you don't, but Landorus isn't an event Pokémon.

I figured out which mon is causing it- Sylveon. I evolved one (and double-checked that I had it in the box), but it never got its Pokedex entry.

The eevee has to to be Kalos native for it to count even if the evolution is from Kalos. I had the same problem.

You guys are probably looking at the Kalos Dex. It won't get the Kalos dex pentagon unless it's Kalos born.

OP you need all non event pokémon for the charm. That means you need to get that Landorus recognized.
Meanwhile, are you sure you're not missing any other pokémon? Try looking at the national pokédex, see # seen and # caught on top

Nnnope, I'm looking at the National.

But it doesn't matter- without that pentagon, Sylveon won't be registered in either dex.
